By working out a new integrated IT system in the field of blood supply NAVIGATOR has contributed and implemented a European standard for the Hungarian Blood Supply Service (OVSZ). The system will create a new IT platform with nationwide coverage, providing complex support for blood supply following its integration into a dedicated network. The state-of-the-art Java technology-based system integrates the Hungarian Blood Supply Service’s existing professional system and builds a predictable, efficient and cost-effective blood supply network based on a unified, centralized patient and donor database. The IT integration of this volume required professional project management by NAVIGATOR.
